CPD Training Opportunity for staff working in Pre-school Settings and with Primary 1-3

Last year all staff working with Early Years children (age 3-5) participated in the ‘Early Learning, Forward Thinking’ strategy for the use of ICT in Early Years.

We still have trainers in Aberdeenshire who are delivering further training courses this session to staff working with pre-school and Primary 1 to 3.

The courses available are:

• Using the Digital Movie Creator – This course is similar to the previous module but with the addition of animation and adding sound.  Click here to view course dates and venues

• Using the Digital Microscope – This is a new course showing how to use the microscope with pre-school and early stages pupils.  Courses are now organised.  Click here to view course dates and venues.

• Digital Still Photography – This course will cover how photographs can be edited and manipulated in Microsoft Word. It will also show how Microsoft picture editor can be used to remove red eye, change the colour, crop and compress pictures.  The Digital Stills Courses were completed in November 2006.
