Curriculum Learning in School Grounds
Grounds for Learning
Grounds for Learning is the Scottish programme of Learning through Landscapes , the UK school grounds charity. Every year we support schools & settings across Scotland to develop their grounds and use them more creatively.
We're about to embark on a project called Greener Grounds looking at taking the curriculum outdoors with three primary and secondary schools across the north-east of Scotland. As part of this, we're running an initial training day for the teachers involved on Friday 5 June. As numbers for this course are reasonably small, we are also opening it up to other teachers across Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City . Although these teachers wouldn't be involved in the rest of the project, they may find this training course worthwhile as a stand alone CPD opportunity. There are 14 free places available which will be allocated on a first come basis. If you would like to join us for the day, please complete the attached booking form and return it to us by Friday 15 May 2009. For more information, please get in touch using the contact details below. Course date and venue Friday 5 June 2009 – 10am-3pmNorthfield Academy , Aberdeen
