Grounds for Learning's National Networking Event - Friday 13 March 2009 - SNH Conference Centre, Battleby, Nr Perth.

Where better to explore the potential of active learning than in your school grounds?

Our 2009 NatNet Event will explore how outdoor spaces can enhance the educational experiences of our young people and support A Curriculum for Excellence.  The day will include:

• Participatory workshops exploring effective outdoor learning & teaching approaches
• Thought-provoking presentations demonstrating innovative & achievable ideas
• Inspiring examples of how you can deliver ACE experiences and outcomes in your outdoor spaces.
• Market place stalls and time for networking

This event is open to anyone interesting in schools grounds; primary and secondary teachers, early years practitioners, local authority staff and individuals & organisations who support schools & settings with the use & development of their outdoor spaces.  Workshops themes include taking maths outdoors, creating & using an outdoor classroom, dealing with health & safety challenges and excellent examples of good practice from early years, primary & secondary setting.
