This
area has been set up initially to pool and archive resources
from the secondary Social Subjects Departments and Faculties
participating in the S1/2 AifL/ACE initiative funded by SEED
and Aberdeenshire Authority in 2006-7.
At
the core of the project is the desire to cut down significantly
on the total amount of summative assessment undertaken in S1/2
History, Geography and Modern Studies; to apply a template which
assures equivalence of demand in assessment across the Social
Subjects and to develop formative assessment methods to support
and enhance pupil learning.
All
the content of this site will be placed in the secure area as
the bulk of the resources will be moderated assessment items
and marking instructions. I will add the minutes of meetings
of the five schools (Banff, Ellon, Peterhead, Portlethen and
Turriff), development plans and other relevant documents throughout
2006-7.
